Bother.

Thursday - watching the News Quiz in London.
Friday - out with friends with Miss Deadlock.
Tuesday - rehearsals.

Here's hoping we finish 3rd.

These sound like ghey things that can be postponed/ducked out of if they play-offs arise.

Arse.
Going to see Warpaint on Friday 13th. Have to hope we don't finish 5th. May be able to get to Wales for the away leg tho, providing it's not on that Friday.

Play-off Semi-Final Dates

by Upper West Ginger » 28 Apr 2011 20:11

Haven't seen this mentioned in any of the various payoff threads spinning around, so thought it deserved one in its own right.

http://www.football-league.co.uk/footballleaguenews/20110426/play-off-semi-final-dates_2293334_2347072

There are two sets of possible dates, according to where Nottingham Forest finish (I assume on Police advice due to some other event in the area).

Base plan is
Thursday 12th May 6th v 3rd
Friday 13th May 5th v 4th
Monday 16 May 3rd v 6th
Tuesday 17 May 4th v 5th

HOWEVER if Notts Forest finish in 5th position, the dates get swapped round thus:

Thursday 12th May 5th v 4th
Friday 13th May 6th v 3rd
Monday 16 May 4th v 5th
Tuesday 17 May 3rd v 6th

All matches kick off at 19:45.

I'm out of the country from Thursday to Monday, so don't have a clue at the moment whether I'll get a chance to see a Reading match or not.

Forest better not finish 5th

I have tickets for Liverpool vs Spurs so ideally would like to get to at least the home leg and that if not a trip to wales as well!

I think Nottinghamshire have a one day cricket game at Trent Bridge which is why there could be a switch.

It was much better when the first leg was on Saturday and the second leg was on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Wolves and Burnley etc.

Hoping for Friday, Tuesday. Will be in krakow for the 1st game (will watch with mates), back in Leicester for the second. Other way round I miss the first leg.

I don't know if people have realised, but now unless we overtake Swansea on the last day we are guaranteed to be playing on the Friday at home and the Tuesday away.

If we finish 5th, then we will be playing Swansea (nearly certainly), and if Forest overtake us, we would be playing originally on the Thursday in the 6th v 3rd game, however the dates will be switched if Forest finish 5th, so we would still be playing at home first on the Friday. So unless Swansea lose to Sheffield United and we beat Derby, we will 100% be playing at home on Friday 13th, and away on Tuesday 17th.

One other thing to note, should the fakes be deducted points that drop them into the play offs then all these dates will go out of the window pending the outcome of any appeal.

Unless QPR do drop into the play-offs and the dates change, we look like playing the Friday and Tuesday.

FRIDAY 13TH. :| Because we like our omens...

I hope we lose to Derby and Forest win.

We'll then meet Cardiff. Looking a bit vulnerable after today's result. :D
