As Anton says, he's got a business plan that they have bought into.

But it does leave room for future growth. As Reading grow Anton can go find Investors with bigger pockets, as the team is more attractive.


Hopefully this isn't just a new front for dodgy far east business men. That's my only worry.

My worry is that he's another Sulaiman Al-Fahim. Seemingly deep pockets, but no real worth and these "investors" turn out to not exist or disappear when the going gets tough.

I would expect at least 3-4 investors within TSI. Who these investors are remains to be seen. An interesting set up if it's proven to be so. SJM would therefore still be the majority shareholder.

Nothing has changed with the management structure of the club, we don't have a new director/chairman/CEO or whatever. It's just that the majority shareholder has changed, and we'll have some new board members.

Yeah it does. Nothing stupid like throwing hundreds of millions at a quick fix, but more of the same but with bigger budgets for better players. If we do get back to the Premiership then this time we will have a chance to stay there and keep improving, whereas before it would always be a case of hoping we do enough with what er've got.
