1) Defoe just signed a 3 year deal with Spurs, so why would he be talking to Palace, let alone reading
2) Crystal Palace haven't signed a new Striker, they've signed a new Defender

This clearly means Deffo as in Definitely. Its a misspelling of Deffo not Defoe I imagine.
