Do you think we'll go back in for Poyet now that Adkins time has come to an end?

There was a young man called Adkins
Being scouse, used to rummage around in the bins
And after a ponder
He wouldn't pick Le Fondre
And poor Alf had to train in skins

Royal Bahamas
windermere_royal He`s only been here one game.

....and didn't use him at a time when we know he has scored the majority of his goals this season. You'ld think that Adkins would want to make use of all his known assets, at the most opportune time.
With ALF on after the fabled 65th minute, a 3- 3 score would not have been out of the question.

When will this hope end......

Adkins tried to sign him when he was manager at Scunthorpe but ALF turned him down saying he didn't rate his playing tactics or managerial style. They have been sworn enemies ever since. Thought everyone knew that.

Royal Bahamas It appears that Adkins has put ALF back into the 'Super Sub' status. However he doesn't appear to want to use him. Is there more to this than we know?

There is no story. The 4-2-3-1 formation ideally requires a big man up front, and that is quite obviously Pogrebnyak. I was however disappointed to see Hunt come on instead of Le Fondre last week, but again he's more of a target man than Alf who came on later.

In the Championship Adkins liked 4-4-2, so next season Alf (if he's still here) will see a lot more football.

Adkins still hasn't forgiven Alf for his brace at St Mary's last season that signalled the end of his team's title chances and was the beginning of the end of his time in charge there.

Its no coincidence that he hasn't picked Roberts or Kebe either

Picking a tactic to suit the players we've got > picking a tactic and squeezing the players we've got into it, even if they're not suited

So 4-4-2 then and we get smashed. Good thinking, Ideal.

Also completely dropped Hayden Mullins and Connoly.

This despicable treatment of Le Fondre has to stop. Half of the games that Big Nige has been in charge he hasn’t played Le Fondre at all, and the other half he’s subjected him to 90 minutes of torture, playing him alongside other players that also aren’t cut out for the premier league in humiliating performances.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Le Fondre quits and claims constructive dismissal.

Terrible, terrible treatment and I’m glad somebody has bought it to light. Perhaps we can campaign on Le Fondre’s behalf in his parking space?

I would suggest the ALF blasted that sitter over the bar yesterday in shear frustration at being overlooked for so long by our new boss.

In fact, he saw someone in the Row T of the away end crowd singing "Only one Nigel Adkins" and he was so infuriated he blasted the ball straight at the guy.
