He phoned Radio Berkshire. And spoke to Adie Williams saying he was fit and raring to go, NA said later that since he arrived on March 2nd ,Kebe hasn't been fit.i

I think he may be disappointed that he wasn't even on the bench. We have a problem now in that we have 5 wingers. Only two can start ant two on bench so it seems one will go before transfer deadline. If we could have got something for Kanu that would have been the answer but the gamble that teams would come flocking in for him has backfired and we now have a juicy wage to pay and a long term contract. Kebe's contract was extended this year as well. Cant see any of the 5 being happy to not even be on the bench. Where was the plan in this???

Trouble is Adkins hasnt seen him play. Kebe and Drenthe would be amazing. Can we stop persisting with Kanu who I think is easily 5th best of all our wide men

I think everyone in the division knows the quality of Jimmy Kebe and Adkins is no different. Bit strange that he would phone up BBCRB, even when invited to, as usually he doesn't talk to the media.

Bet Kebe will play next game, score a goal and then get injured. If he is fit he should play league games.

According to this (six months ago) he was going to be out for two weeks.

Some groin strain.

Fingers crossed he back for Yeovil. This should be a big season for Robson-Kanu but he looks out of shape and form.

Let's hope so, Kebe, McAnuff and Drenthe switching across the three positions gives us a clear marked advantage. No other team has a combo of that class.

I've long advocated the strategy of doubling up on the wings, ceding the centre ground entice them in before surrounding and smashing our opponents. I suggest a new position between the winger and the full back...could use a little help with an appropriate name

We're waiting for the transfer window to shut before playing him - so nobody thinks he's fit and buys him 8)

If that's meant to be a cock and balls then it's a bit abstract.

Players often say they are fit and raring to go because they want to play. It's not for them to say it, it's for the professional physios. Just look at Federici at the start of last season. Claimed he was fit, convinced McDermott, played and was obviously carrying an injury. Got dropped and continued to claim he was fit, despite it being obvious he wasn't.

Given Kebe's history, it's very much sensible to work him up to the peak of fitness slowly. It's not like we don't have options at wing, even if he would be a significant boost.
