Binfield Royal "Ooh watch out lads, if we actually try we might win the play offs and get promoted, at which point, none of us will get our contracts renewed..... so better slow up a bit and protect next years income...."

Too cynical...?

Too cynical. If we don't get promoted we won't have enough money to renew them anyway.

andrew1957 I have to say that we have ben incredibly unlucky with injuries this season. We seem to just get one after the other.

It was always going to be a tough ask tonight and without Guthrie and Williams it is doubly hard. Still think 3 wins from 5 will do it and looks like Leicester are on their hols so we might get 3 points against them - provided we can find a central midfield before next Monday evening.

Greed. Despite all the talk about ownership, Adkins, inconsistency, I think that if we had sustained half the injuries we have as a team this season (probably about the normal level) we would be comfortably in the play offs if not higher. No surprise that our best run in form this season coincided with Adkins consistently having the same side to choose from. Even that was missing Guthrie and Drenthe.

So he loses Guthrie late on and replaces him with Kanu. We therefore take to the field with essentially no real midfield of any description whatsoever and then we all wonder why we're outplayed out thought and out fought everywhere (well more than usual anyway).

At least the pressure will be off on Monday as no- one will expect the team in ninth to have anything to play for.

Can't wait for a take over to happen so everyone knows what the expectation is to be and whether or not we can overhaul the squad.

We're not wondering, we all know why we're getting extra shagged tonight.

The worse we can be on Monday is a point outside the play-offs, so that hardly comes under nothing to play for

3-0 @ HT.

Missing a midfield and a central defence that can cope with being run at.

Suggest a better one and I'll personally ask Anton to give you the job.
