Any of you been to the megastore and bought this? Is it identical to the 05/06 one?

Likewise. Although I might struggle to fit in to a medium.

Ideal disguise for newbie/plastic fans.

readingfc With thanks to the our official kit supplier Puma, we have commissioned a small batch of the replica shirts from the 2005/06 season which are available now in the Megastore
in other words, they had a clearout and found some unsold stock. I remember when these were selling for £15 or so the next season in the sales.

Will historic names/numbering be available?

Hope so, then I can get the Michael Dobson shirt I've always wanted.

If you read all the way to the end it says "You can also pay homage to the squad who secure this marvellous feat by having your shirt printed with your favourite player's name from that era. You might opt for captain Graeme Murty (#2), joint-top league scorers Dave Kitson and Kevin Doyle (#12 and #19), or perhaps even our Senegalese centre-half Ibrahima Sonko (#5) - the full list is available at the Megastore! Shirt printing is priced at £12 and you can also choose to customise your kit with names and numbers of your choice!

I've still got the away shirt from this season with Doyle 19 on the back, worn it to every game I've been to since. Bit worse for wear now though, the Kyocera printing is pretty much all gone.

Not been a fan of many shirts since then, other than the black away shirt with red trim.

Still have all of my old Reading shirts, don't tend to get names and numbers on the back mind with the exception of 06/07 when I got Doyle 9.

If I was to buy one of these mind, I'd probably get Halls 14, Obinna 29 or Baradji 30.

I like the idea of paying homage to Sekou Baradji, the man who set up Gunnarsson's 87th minute winner against Sheffield United at home, arguably the moment we established that despite being a couple of points behind them, we were in fact better.

The word legend is bandied about willy nilly in football these days, but in the Dobmeister's case, it quite rightly isn't.

It could be argued that, that goal was the most important goal of the season.

Would it have the same sponsor on or no sponsor? Interested if no sponsor.

I went in to inspect these the other day. They seem like exactly the same shirt as was sold (i.e. with sponsor) except with golden embroidery 'Champions 2005-06'

There is, however, no 'Print > Copy > Scan > Fax' at the bottom at the back which I feel was a crucial addition.

You can always write this bit on with a marker pen.

The Kyocera sponsor is completely different. Printed into the shirt as opposed to being felt.

Are the sleeves really baggy like they were on the original?
