tidus_mi2 They have already said we're not going to be signing anymore players, I reckon that will be how it turns out.

Brian also said we are not interested in le fondre the day before we signed him....

If we do sell Williams today I'm guessing that we'll get a decent 7 figure fee for him.

That being the case Marcus Maddison at Peterborough would be an awesome signing, out of the Nick Blackman mold. Darragh Mac has said a Chump club are extremely interested in him.

Esteban
paultheroyal Sky Sports stating Williams to Swansea - fee agreed. Now down to player. Big loss if he goes.

If he does go, I really hope we have a replacement lined up. Nobody currently in our squad that's as box to box as Williams is.

Isn't that what Evans says his best role is? According to his interview anyway.

Unlike many, I do think we'll miss him. Certainly short term but if it allows us to offer extended deals to the likes of Norwood and renewed deals to those out of contract in the summer who we want to keep then I can see the logic.

Daily Mirror linking us with Julian Speroni but dependant on other keeper movement.

If we're gonna take a keeper off Palace, then it sure has hell best be that young English fella.

I never really saw the big deal about him but everyone at that club raves about him and says about how big an impact he has off the pitch. If that't the case then get him in.

If not Gabor Kiraly with grey joggers.

Just don't understand clubs at times...

Why are Celtic and others chasing journeyman Colin Kazim Richards - scores occasionally, never settles at a club and probably totally arrogant. Fail to see the attraction.

I didn't know that. He didn't look like much of a holding midfielder against Wednesday, that's for sure! Clearly has some talent though, so if Williams were too leave, an extended run in his preferred position will prove it one way or the other.

I'm with you, I think Williams would be missed.

Rollerbob Could Quinn not fill Danny's place?

Better passer of the ball, can be attacking minded. Not quite as strong on the ball, but a better all round player imo.

Think Jimmy's like 56 now, and a striker...

CountryRoyal Think our squad is good enough for now depending on departures.

Good enough for what?

Wage bill being cut looks like a motivator this window. It wont hurt us though. We're blessed in midfield and we are in yet anothr transitional period, so enjoy the remaining friendlies and look forward to more mediocrity next seaoson.

Nigel Howe is sat with Nicky Hammond at the hotel, so we're working on 'something'. It'll be uninpriring anyway, so no point getting wet over it.
