Winston Smith Burton have won 4 of the last 14 league games. the 2nd half of their season has been pretty bad. Can see Walsall stealing 2nd spot

It's like Reading's 2008/9 season

not unlike 2001/02 either tbh

Yeah. Forgot about our form that season. We won 4 out of 16 matches since February and still went up   Although we only lost one since Christmas. Have fond memories of that ridiculous run of 7 wins in a row without conceding.

limping slowly towards the finish line like a shot up soldier dragging himself to safety (but with loads of 'spirit, tenacity & flair'). Those were the days

Will95 Norwich is a good day out and closer than Newcastle)

If you're traveling 4 hours anyway, you might as well travel 5 and go to Newcastle

If Newcastle go down I will be pleased, I loved my away day there a few seasons back. Will definitely be in for a couple of days up there.

Newcastle is a great place for drinking, but I can go there before/after Sunderland, so eh I'd rather only 1 trip to that part of the country!

First time in a while I've cheered another team scoring, come on Derby!

Great to see the delight on the faces of the Brighton faces as they score a goal that means completely JACK.
Assuming Burnley win (not a given I know) but they had to win at Middlesbrough whether they'd equalised or not.

They really are a bunch of idiots, also what a dive by Knockaert, shame there was no Troy Deeney to go down the other end and dispense immediate justice

Brilliant decision by the ref (I never thought I would utter those words)
The lineo was busy flagging for a foul and a penalty

It's not completely meaningless, but is does only allow them the luxury of knowing a draw will take them up if Burnley draw today and lose at Charlton (or they lose along with Burnley, and Charlton thrash them).

Love a promotion pitch invasion. There's one of your big differences between new money plastic PL fans who sit politely to clap and real fans in the lower divisions.

I quite enjoyed the steward dragging Dyche off the pitch like someone had started firing shots

Crazy stuff from Bristol Rovers with 35 (?) Shots yet just couldn't get it in.......until the 92nd minute. Cue pandemonium there and heartbreak at Accrington.

Had BR in my accumulator too so was punching the air with that one saving it. A Wigan win tomorrow and I get £40 from 2.50

NSC is delicious tonight. I've never seen such sore losers - even worse than KUMB after we did them in 2012.

Did anyone see the Brighton player pull up Gaston Ramires' sock to hide the horrific stud gashes before the referee saw them?

21 page thread on the referee.

Also going on about how good they were and how they had 'boro bricking it. They had one shot on target

A few of their thread titles:
Karanka should take some responsibility for today's injustice...
Never a red + we had boro bricking it
How much did Mike Dean get paid today?
Football is fixed

This is my favourite thread by miles:
http://www.northstandchat.com/showthrea ... z-s-injury

Is it just me or is the position and look of his "injury" inconsistent with the contact point and force at point of contact?

I'm no medic - but that "gash" looks like an old injury rather than a fresh one. I would wish no harm on any player -
it just doesn't add up to me.

That was a disgrace. To give him oxygen and to stretcher him off infers a broken leg.

Now we know he was acting.

just seen on another post
yes where exactly is the BLOOD

Oh dear.

Seems one Boro fan was taken aback by the level of twattery.
Was going to come on and say how sorry I was to see you fall at the last hurdle and that ideally I would have liked us both to go up, I hope the playoffs work out etc. But after seeing your reaction to the game I hope your turned over by sheff wed. Don't forget, I've been in your position, coming so agonisingly close and I was humble enough to admit we just weren't the better team. The hostility here is astounding and I can't belive your trying to insinuate that we bribed Mike Dean or that Gaston showed Dean a wound he sustained earlier. Always thought you were a decent lot but with any luck you'll be at Burton away next season because karmas a bitch. We'll enjoy counting our £170m you bitter bunch of clowns.
