Good to see our fans showing their class and maturity on the twatter page of our new signing.

Bit of him tearing up Boro.

Fosu's ommission from the squad list makes a lot more sense now.

But he was on the bench last night

I saw something about that - wasn't he retweeting every Reading based thing because he doesn't know English and some helmets were tweeting him vile things?

I didn't see the tweets but they seem to have gone now.

I don't get why people in the public eye go on Twitter, I mean what do they gain from it?

TBM What's he like on football manager?

In my file he appears to be so bad that he is released and retires in 2018 after not being able to find a club. According to the editor his maximum PA is 120 out of 200.
Although I dont think you really wanted to know.

Since twitter has an auto translate / one button translate option you'd assume he could figure out easily enough if he wanted

The more I think about Yakou Meite the harder it is to not get excited about him - so many options for chants.

From the simple "Feed the Yak and he will score"
to similar based from feed the world - "Feeedddd the Yaaaakkkkkk, 'cos he knows it's scoringtime again"

to Mariappa's 500 miles "I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more (Nath?) just to be the man who walked a thousand miles to see Yakou Meite score.. Yakou Meite, Yakou Meite, dun-dun-dun-dundundun-dun-dun-dundun. (probably one of my least favourite chants ever... no one could keep time  )

Johny Salako "Yakou Meite, Yakou-Yakou Meite....."

or even the Noel Hunt chant. "ya-kou-Mei-te-MEI-TE-MEI-TE...ya-kou-Mei-et-MEI-TE-MEI-TE..." etc.

It'll be feed the Yak, no doubt, but the possibilities are endless.

Well, after seeing Reading fans shout racist abuse at Shaka Hislop, you really don't get surprised by much.

I remember Wolves fans racially abusing him in the 4-2 win the week Mcghee left. Game was live on TV and you could clearly hear their fans every time he took a goal kick.

They are probably fed up with yet another mediocre foreign signing, so can't really blame them.

Basically what I saw was that he was retweeting every good wish and welcome from Reading (or PSG) fans. So some took advantage of that to post stuff that he presumably didn't realise was inappropriate. Which he then retweets, so it's effectively got his name on it.

E.g., looking forward to you banging in the goals like you bang the women

I didn't see anything too horrendous, (think that was the worst) - it's not like he was retweeting Nazi slogans or anything.

Edit: a few people were saying he could have found out by doing auto-translate? It's slang that is the problem though, isn't it? Don't think Google Translate will tell you what "bang" means colloquially. Or "cock" etc

I don't see anything "vile" in that?!

I was thinking Reading fans were calling him a monkey or something

Agree! Reaction a bit OTT unless there was a lot more i didn't see. A bit childish to take advantage of him, but no more than that. I saw nothing racist.
