This tie has brought up a lot of talk of our manager for obvious reasons.

However, in the unlikely event that we do actually manage to win this tie, I think that we should dedicate the win to one Stephen Hunt. As surprisingly, I have yet to see mention of a certain manager. One that I believe is the only one currently in employment that rivals Neil Warnock for getting on the wrong side of us Reading fans and our dislike. We do still owe him a beating for that match (on the pitch that is).

Same, wanted a 530 kick off so then I could have travelled up mid morning, booked into hotel and then gone out.

I'm now tempted to book hotel for Friday+Saturday night. Total cost is £100 so not too bad.

Epic? I always get confused with comments like this, like those who say, Carlisle away would have been fantastic... really? 100 other away supporters on a cold drizzly Saturday afternoon in a small town with nothing much to do and a long journey home.

Although it's nice to be right for once, I was pretty annoyed at how predictable the TV selections were, particularly the Beeb's

They shove the 'Magic Of The Cup' down our throats at every opportunity, and when they get the chance to actually show some of it, they pick the two games with the four biggest teams... Spurs Reserves at home to Aston Villa really is what the FA Cup's all about

On the topic of Man Utd, it's often forgotten that we have a surprisingly decent record against them, in terms of almost always being the 'plucky loser' in games against them in recent years

Since first playing them in the Premier League in 2006/07, we've only lost 1 of 9 by more than one goal (a 0-2 defeat in 2008 in which Ronaldo scored a 90th minute breakaway goal, a game we really should have taken something from)

Also saw a stat that Man Utd are our most frequent FA Cup opponents, with this being our ninth meeting (winning 1 of 8 - in 1927)

For these games I always think - I would rather be there and lose than not go and we win/draw. If we were to win, I would ecstatic, but I would hate the fact I wasn't there to see it in person.

If you go and we get beat, so what? You're still going to have a great night out I bet.

If we win, then you've seen a brilliant result and part of the whole experience.

Staying at home I think you'd immediately regret it, especially as the game starts to build up.

Adult United and Cambridge fans will have to pay full price for the replay, which will take place a week on Tuesday at Old Trafford.

Adult fans will pay between £31 and £53 to watch the match at the 75,000-seater stadium.

Cambridge, who are entitled to 45 per cent of ticket revenue, are likely to receive a sizeable windfall, particularly if the match sells out.

One one hand "what a bunch of disgusting money grabbing greedy ********" on the other hand keeping it to standard pricing would be good for the smaller club if Utd more or less sell out (and for the return of Stam that is a possibility). So assuming a conservative average ticket price of £30 to allow for freebies and concessions and a full house that's approx £1.1 million for Reading for a days work.

I presume our allocation will be the full 15% (11,250) tickets or will safety and police grounds stop that happening?
