Flackwell Heath 0-0 Windsor

Decent enough game. 5th clean sheet on the bounce for Windsor.

Old Man Andrews

tmesis
Old Man Andrews whilst the rest of the ground is similar to their current one..

...as in just hard standing on three sides?

I assume that unlike at the current ground, there will be room to expand should they want to.

Uncovered standing three sides and a bigger seated stand that runs all the way down one of the touchlines. I think that is where the changing rooms and board room is too. There is so much room around it to develop if needs be too.

Garry Hill in at Ebbsfleet. I think their days in the Conference Prem may be numbered.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but, surprisingly to me, Jason Bristow has left Basingstoke to become Assistant Manager at Eastleigh. Terry Burton returns as Manager at Basingstoke.

Maidenhead v Portsmouth on BT Sport at 12.30pm as well remember. Even BBC Berks are starting their Saturday program at 12.25 to get commentary in - prior to the big game at the Mad Stad apparently.

Be quite something if Maidenhead can avoid a thrashing given their recent run. But they have signed a 20 year old defender on loan from Bristol Rovers this week so perhaps fortunes might pick up at just the right time.

Abingdon 0-1 Windsor

Huff, puff and not a lot of quality. Abingdon had a 16yo in sticks who was excellent, only beaten by a late deflected goal.

It didn’t rain!!!

… big news here – it’s been brewing for a while – reportedly AC London have finally been expelled from Div One and all results will be expunged. Apparently they were ‘voted out’ by member clubs at an EGM pre-season but allowed to start the season under appeal. The FA have evidently found against them – however there have been some later tweets from the CCL implying there’s a bit of dithering ongoing between them and the FA – ‘watch this space’ as they say!

Ash United 1-2 Epsom & Ewell
British Airways 1-2 Tooting Bec
Cove P-P Bagshot - another fairly late postponement
Eversley & California A-A Chessington & Hook United - Ref called it off on 55’ with the 'Boars' 2-0 up
Farnham Town P-P FC Deportivo Galicia
Fleet Spurs P-P Godalming Town
Frimley Green 3-2 Dorking Wanderers Reserves
Sandhurst Town 2-0 Sheerwater surprise defeat for the ‘Sheers’ sees Bedfont & Feltham stay top – they got there by beating Kensington Borough 4-0 on Friday evening

HELLP
Abingdon United 0-1 Windsor
Ardley United 4-2 Brimscombe & Thrupp – chasing pack continue to stumble unexpectedly vs the lower sides – B&T stay 2nd 6 points behind Brackley Saints who were in Supplementary League Cup action

Binfield 3-2 Royal Wootton Bassett Town
Fairford Town 3-0 Tuffley Rovers – 3 wins from 4 boost Fairford further from the drop zone.
Holmer Green 1-0 Longlevens
Shrivenham 1-3 Bishops Cleeve
Virginia Water 2-3 Lydney Town
Wantage Town 2-1 Ascot United – Yellamen stay third – very low turn-out for what was shaping up to be the two favourites for the title but both have dropped in form of late. Freds still 6th well in touch with plenty of games in hand over all the sides ahead and around them

HELL1E
Chinnor 1-3 Woodley United 2nd win in a row for Utd – host Wallingford tomorrow night at Scours.
Penn & Tylers Green 1-3 AFC Aldermaston
Wokingham & Emmbrook

I know (not personally but know of) some players via some Uni mates.

Lets just say they are not the friendliest bunch.

You mean why have they apparently been kicked out of the CCL?

This is just the outcome of a very long drawn out affair isn't it? The clubs voted them out and it's been appeal after appeal before they could make it happen.

Or has something else gone on that has meant they could finally kick them out?

I don’t know.

Haven’t been keeping up with CCL news so it’s passed me by it seems.

Went to see Aldershot 1 Bradford 1 in the cup played on a waterlogged pitch which probably shouldn’t have gone ahead as it was a lottery down both flanks. Bradford are a poor side and can see why they are the bottom of League 1. Aldershot took an early lead and then sat back in the second half and invited pressure and the inevitable equaliser. 2 Reading loanees played for Aldershot, Osho who had a steady game at the back and Josh Barrett who played for 55 minutes. He looked quite tidy on the ball but was carrying extra timber and was blowing after 20 minutes.

.... Not gone into it too closely myself - there hasn't been as much chatter on the new F'focus for the CCL - chap that runs it has introduced a huge s/w change and people seem to have left the forums in droves. The league sections with fixtures results etc have been wiped entirely, so I have even less cause to use the sites. It used to cover quite a few divisions from Vanarama down to STEP06.

My guess would be AC London were under a pre-season stay of execution and warned about previous behaviour,that had led to them being almost unanimously voted out of league by their peers.

Looking at this season's disciplinary stats on the Bulletins for the CCL it is clear they did not heed the warning - a quick glance shows (if I've added up right) they have as many points as the next three clubs put together. Reputation or not it is clear they brook little or no sympathy from their fellow clubs in the CCL.

Will see what else is out there - the League Chairperson will have to make an official statement soon; I expect this will appear on official channels before long.

Reportedly another CCL Committee gathering tonight .......

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
... Elsewhere a decent tussle at Scours tonight (Mon) half-regret not hauling myself down there.
Hellenic One East : Woodley Utd 3-3 Wallingford
.... may try and get up to Holmer Gn tomorrow night, for the visit of Wantage Town in the division above
Not much else on that appeals:
Winchester v Evesham in the SL1-S
Hungerford v Beaconsfield &
Chalfont v Sluff both in the B&B Sen Cup ..
NB just spotted this last one has been switched to Arbour Pk
Winchester v Evesham in the SL1-S
Another poxy defeat. Evesham won 2-1. 2 Points from 6 games now. Piss poor frankly.
Saturday we've got league leaders Yate, so a tough game.
I've got a Reading mate, and a couple of his mates coming down for this. It could be embarrassing.
