Do they though?

I mean granted there’s more appeal than Reading and Bolton, but not a lot.

Both teams have bigger fanbases than either Bolton or Reading plus both of those teams are at the right end of the table. Bolton have to agree to the match being shown on the red button and is that going to happen whilst protesters are throwing things on to the pitch in protest of the owner? Probably not.

What’s your source for Bolton having to approve red button?

I don’t expect they have a choice and it will be on the red button.

It was never a game scheduled for red button coverage so of course they have to agree. Why would they willingly give up ticket revenue if they didn't have to? They'd need to reach a financial agreement with Sky.

My sources are common sense, Twitter and the fact I know a lot.

Not true - try scrolling through to Tuesday 12th Feb.

So could still be on. OMA may be correct, but I reckon it’s 60:40 it will be on.

Ha, that’s a long scroll

You’re both right in that it might be shown, but my understanding is the same as OMA - Bolton have to agree to it. As yet they haven’t - that’s not to say they won’t - but being as they haven’t yet 1 day before I suspect it isn’t going to happen

It might be they don’t want to announce yet for ticket sales reasons - straw clutching a bit

Looking interesting with the snow forecast
This just has to be a win and tbh I think we will beat them easily 3-0,3-1 etc.
Having seen them play a few times and just looking at their record I would bet they will finish bottom below Ipswich.
Oliviera to score 2

There might well be some question on whether the game goes ahead or not. Forecast in Bolton area is for lots of lovely snow most of the day and into the evening and while the pitch itself may well remain playable the conditions in the surrounding area may be deemed unsafe for the large amount of supporters and traffic that will go to the game.

Expecting it all to go ahead as planned as this stage but just be prepared for that late news of no game, esp if you’re going - and if you are driving it, expect it to be slow journey on the way back.

No the game will be off 100%. Not really fair to get peoples hopes up.

I don't think it'll be called off at the last minute if they call it off. Bolton's ground has undersoil heating so the pitch should be fine, it's the conditions around the ground that may be an issue. Especially as the ground is pretty much like ours in terms of location and distance from town.

Fingers crossed the snow isn't as bad as they think and the match goes ahead as planned!

Do you reckon if it got re-arranged, the new date would get us on the red button? If so, I'm in.

I want it to be re-arranged for a Wednesday evening so I can go to the game but also watch it on my phone at the same time on Sky Go. I will then live video blog the game too.

Sorry, sorry. We have to see if the match goes ahead first.

But if it does, do you think we will be able to watch it on Sky?

Don't think it's on the red button, but definitely on iFollow, even if it gets called off.

If you press the red button a 2nd time whilst already watching the red button coverage you switch to protest cam that follows 20 angry northern blokes in a slow walk around the stadium.

IFollow will be showing a re-run of the 95 PO final - first 33 minutes only.
