Simon Rossiter

by windermereROYAL » 18 Apr 2019 08:26

Maybe some of you were aware of this life long ardent fans long and brave fight against cancer, he was always posting on twitter sounding upbeat about the club when he was obviously suffering badly fighting this terrible illness.

This morning he lost that fight, the club and players were well aware of his plight and I hope a minutes applause can be arranged during the game on Monday in his memory.

Fully agree with the opening post. Let’s hope the club that Simon loved concur and we can applaud him on Monday.

Think we are better off waiting until his family tell us what they want tbf. I know we all mean well but it is ultimately up to them. Maybe Simon said what he'd like to happen to the club perhaps.

Judging by this thread, his daughter Jade seems supportive of the idea of a minute's applause, or she wouldn't have responded with his age.
