Not when the contact is at stomach height. The defender ducked his head.

New manager is Sam Lock. From what I can make out Sam was assistant at Maidenhead and had previously played for Wycombe and Reading’s academies before injury got to him.

Bracknell have also appointed Michael Butcher as assistant manager and Aaron Steadman is the 1st team coach. In addition they’ve appointed Matt Stannard to look after match data and analysis, don’t know how common it is for teams at Bracknell’s level to have an analysis role but just goes to show how they’re trying to progress.

Today's play-off finals

Salford 3-0 AFC Fylde
Warrington 2-3 King's Lynn
Met Police 2-3 Tonbridge Angels

Just 8049 at Wembley for Salford v Fylde, and Salford probably had nearly 3/4 of those.

30 quid+ for a ticket. About 4 times less then the fa vase final.

...indeed more like a left-over kebab - was glad SCR finally put a decent move together to settle it before we had to endure another 30'

Irony was my original plan A was a possible EBerks title decider at Iver Rec but the M4 put paid to that. :|

.... that game ended 0-0.

An incredible 1267 crowd at the Stray Dog in Walthamstow watch Clapton CFC clinch the Middlesex County League Div 1 C&E title with a 3-0 win. Been an incredible inaugural season and will be interesting to see how they follow that next season.

And most of the successful squad from the last couple of season have now left too. Only 2 or 3 remaining now. That's a lot of change and rebuilding to put in place in one pre-season.

Looks like these changes were lined up in advance of the play offs too, but there's no unrealistic expectation of success at Bracknell...

What is the usual attendance for the National League PO final? Have to question if they would be better playing at a 30k seater stadium than a less than 10% full Wembley.

After a quick wiki search, 2015 was the last time it was above 20,000.

Bristol Rovers played Grimsby in front of a crowd of 47,000

Going a bit further back, from 2007 - 2010 it was very well supported with a crowd of over 35,000 each time.

I guess it depends on what teams get there, looking on twitter it seems that both Fylde and Salford don't have massive followings because they have just pumped money into the playing team so don't have the fan base.

Congrats to Chertsey Town on their 3-1 FA Vase victory at Wembley versus Cray Valley (who featured 40 year old, one-time Reading loanee Kevin Lisbie)

Next up, league-bound Leyton Orient (featuring our very own Jobi Mac versus AFC Fylde in the FA Trophy.

FoC, if you can flesh things out a bit......crowd sizes etc.......it’d be very much appreciated...and THANKS and RESPECT for another year of maintaining my favourite HNA thread.....cheers and happy hopping!

Think the NL world will be happy enough to see Fylde win this, Orient got their promotion, Fylde didn’t...this would be a nice consolation for them

Leyton Orient are my favourite London club. Really got themselves on the up since getting shot of Becchetti. Come across as a really well grounded family club and the new owners seem to be about as perfect as any club could possibly want. Certainly a role model for every club.

Some good stuff on YouTube about their recent troubles, the new owners and how this last season has gone split into 5 episodes of around 15 minutes each. All well worth watching and some good stuff from Jobi as club captain (esp. in episode 4).
