The Playoffs 2018/19 edition

by Brum Royal » 10 May 2019 11:47

Predicted winners:
Villa
Charlton
MK Dons

Watched a pretty good game between Newport and Mansfield last night. Newport had a couple of clear chances but were denied by a couple of fantastic saves by the Mansfield keeper. Newport were fortuitous to get a penalty late on for their equaliser (which was probably about right on balance of play) but the keeper clearly got the ball which the ref didn't see.

I put Tranmere to start with, then went back and edited to MK Dons. Not sure why I did that. I'll stick with Tranmere

The Championship play offs are really looking great.

Fires up 5 x 0-0s and penalties throughout.

And now losing. Lewis Ward didn’t stand a chance with it though.

Aston Villa 2-1 West Brom

Took a long time for the 12 men of Villa to break West Brom down but they got two quick goals in the space of a few minutes

Leeds take the lead against Derby. oxf*rd me if this ends up being a Villa - Leeds final, absolutely tragic.

Sadly Derby are a dreadful team at this level, mind you bit of a dodgy penalty call from the ref and Lino.

Derby absolute toilet and do look every bit the worst team in the playoffs, which they are. Leeds lucky.

Could they make it any more obvious they want a Leeds Villa final. About 6 shocking decisions from the refs in both games combined. And people have the nerve to defend refs

Derby couldn't manage a shot on target at home, they are indeed terrible, hopefully West Brom can turn it round against Villa and then beat Leeds in the final.

Disagree, not a pen for me and Derby diving and trying to get players booked/sent off behaved like a right bunch of pcunts especially Keogh. Sort of behaviour I expected from Leeds.
Want WBA but not rated Derby this season. Their defence has been shite.
