Flint undergoing a medical at Cardiff. Dread to imagine the number of set pieces Cardiff will now score with Morrison, Flint and Bamba

Although my immediate thought was whether Morrison is on his way - Sheff Utd, Villa, Palace maybe

Fulham with some very good business so far. Signed Ivan Cavaleiro from Wolves, signed Mitrovic onto a long term deal and are now signing Knockaert from Brighton. Think they’ll be up there with signings like that

Surprised they can afford it after the tens of millions they frittered away last year

They almost certainly can't, but as long as they don't blow their whole loss allowance now as well as fail to go up immediately, they'll be ok as long as they make it back in 3 seasons.

If we are talking about our rivals in the division, I don’t think we need to worry about Cardiff or Fulham.

Looking at who Wigan, Charlton, Millwall and Barnsley are signing might be more appropriate.

Perhaps they've got someone sensible in charge of signings now their owners son is distracted by his wrestling company.

I hope they go bust and Craven Cottage is razed to the ground.

I’ll make the effort to do the 2.1 miles to dance as the fcuking place burns.

Cnuts.

So West Brom look to have a £3 million fee accepted for Romaine Sawyers. This may then clear the path for Brentford to sign Ejaria (like for like replacement, well in terms of position, not quality)

Should that happen, I think Ejaria will do quite well at Brentford. Not too fussed if he doesn’t join here because I think that will give Olise and Co a greater chance for development (that is if we don’t sign someone else for that “position”)

Here's to them making an almighty pig's ear of it then.

I thought the whole point of parachute money was to manage the return to Championship income with Premiership expenditure in the short term, not a mad panic to jump back on the gravy train as it pulls out of the station.

And yes, I do realise we are as guilty as anyone of doing it and it's a factor in our current financial predicament.
