Not really no...

That is just from the most recent page.

Like I said I follow them and their results. As soon as family member moves onto another team I will support them too.

When he played I supported whichever team he played for aswell .

Then you're just as bad as the people who you claim to make you sick.

No I'm not. I support reading first and foremost.

Is that why you wanted to get a ST at FGR? Or was that made up?

No it wasnt. I was disillusioned with Reading and it was in protest. But it was way to expensive to get so refunded it. Nothing I say is made up

There is nothing wrong with supporting more than one club, or country

I'm a life-long Newport County supporter. I was born there.

When I was in the RAF, had a buddy who was a Leeds fan and we went there
religiously. (I got lucky, it was the Revie era, great days including 7-0 v Chelsea)

Those were the days. You rocked up, queued, paid cash at a turnstile, always got in

My first wife was from near Carlisle, a huge fan, and I watched them for years,
fell in love with "little club got bigger" with its higgledy-piggledy stands, a few
great cup runs (won first leg of semi-final v top-division WBA 1-0, were drawing
0-0 HT in second leg and hit the post. Then Jeff Astle.)

My second wife was a big Arsenal fan. I'd always liked them but never been...
Then my son was a huge fan so we went whenever we could get a ticket.

I came to Newbury in Sep 2000, still watching NCAFC, a club I've raised
a lot of money for, been on sponsored walks to pay that week's wages,
sat and drank with managers etc. They are "part of me".

But I couldn't afford the time and fuel to go to Wales very game, started dropping
in on Reading, then my son got really keen so we bought Sts.

I consider myself an Arsenal fan, a Reading fan, a Newport fan, and I still look
for Carlisle's results. Strangely, stopped following Leeds, probably because I
now lived back in Wales and could watch County

But if Reading play any other those others, not for a second do I not
want Reading to win... and that's what matters

PS I love Liverpool, too. Seriously dislike Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea

Football:

I follow England, and only second, Wales.

I think that's because 1966 and the World Cup was my formative time.

If Wales play England (like the Home Championships, which I miss)
then I wanted Wales to beat England (because now it's National Pride)

But in World Cups, I wanted England to win, even against Wales...

Rugby:

I follow Wales with an absolute passion (always did) and support Wales and whoever is playing England

New Plough Lane..probably not. I enjoyed a childhood running away from opposing skinhead fans there, but going back to a Mk II version would be like going out with an ex, after she’d had a boob job. Onwards and upwards.

Went to a game recently (Portman Rd) the Wombles were very very good (fans - team was shit triers).

I honestly think their experience of getting back in the league probably rivals our 106 season for sheer visceral heart pumping joy. And over about 8 years too!

Been to a few games in Kingston in early naughties, but that ground is about 700 yards from the house I grew up in, so it felt..odd. Wombles do have a quality of their own, agreed, but I’ve hung up my blue LBC-sponsored shirt.

Fully agree over the rugby. I passionately support Wales and want England to lose against whoever they play.
I support Wales in football. If they don’t qualify for a major tournament which is nearly always I support England.
In cricket I support England(and Wales).

I admit to not being very logical in all of this.

There seems to be a huge dislike between England and Wales rugby but certainly not to the same extent as in football because England and Wales are pretty similar in terms of rugby whereas everyone knows England are much better than Wales in football. Think it's almost impossible to support both England and Wales in rugby

Likewise with cricket, it's the same situation as football

Clubs have always gone bust. Owners (and to some extent, fans) have
to find ways to NOT go bust

Bury
Newport County
Rushden & Diamonds
Scarborough Town
Kettering
Darlington
New Brighton Tower
Bradford Park Avenue
Accrington
Accrington Stanley
Halifax Town
Wigan Borough
Stalybridge Celtic
Middleborough Ironopolis
Maidstone United
Leeds City
Darwin
Aldershot

There are as many clubs that fell out of the league system by relegation
or failure to be re-elected, and drifted off into near-obscurity

I was talking, yesterday, to a guy from Llanelli about the once big-deal club
who beat Spurs and once went through all the preliminary rounds and eventually to
the third round of the FA Cup.

It's life, things change

Yes, things change, it's life, yeah, you go and support the big clubs. Things change, Reading used to be good. Get real and be a Liverpool fan, until Man Citeh over take them in the league, then you can support them too.

Part of the issue here, aside from my sarcasm, is that the FA brought in this rule to stop idiot owners, and now there are two clubs who have spent the summer thinking they might not be there in a short while. Seems something isn't working. And you want to put so much pressure on the FA that they might actually have to fart in the next three weeks.

Still doesn't means we need to clap for a random club we have no affiliation to.

I actually saw some people clapping for them and standing up yesterday and told them very sternly If they want to applaud a different team then rescind their season tickets and get out the stadium because its Reading fans only. They quickly retreated with their tales between their legs.

You don't HAVE TO do anything.

You don't have to clap for football as a part of British culture, rather than a business investment, you can shout racist abuse at black players if you like, unless of course you get kicked out, then you can shout it at your TV/Radio/Computer if you want.

The reality is I'm telling you the bigger picture, the picture that some people see by trying to keep alive a culture that is dying and almost dead.

But then perhaps your not old enough to understand that.

I’m here JS.

I hate every other club with a passion.

Apart from Plymouth, West Brom and strangely, Brentford.

Edit: obviously I don’t support any of those cnuts.
