Snowball
NewCorkSeth Ovie named Whoscored player of the month. Delighted for him. Have the club ever done an interview with him? Would love to hear from him on how he feels to be back with us.

Excellent!

Where on the site is this shown?

I have no idea but he was the highest ranked player since the start of the season with a score of 7.7 so he won. Dunno where they show it month to month.

I was thinking this not too long ago that we very rarely hear from him.

Seems to back up the claim that's hes mild mannered and not looking for the spotlight.

If he keeps this form up the spotlight will find him.

Despite a poor performance, Swift was the highest rated player on the pitch today with a score of 7.86. The closest Blackburn player was Bradley Dack (who was my motm) with 7.52.

In a poor week a score of 7.86 might sneak you into the whoscored team of the week.

I wish I had some of what the WhoScored guys (and gals?) smoke. Today would have been so much much more purple. Or something.

At least three Blackburn players were so far ahead of Swift, it’s not even funny. Pass accuracy? Attempting a tackle? Vision? Anyway what is the point? A winning team on a PS4 does not convert to much at the Mad Stad.

I dont know. Lodge a complaint with them. They take most things into account. Pass accuracy, dribbles, tackles, aerial duels, hitting the post, fouls against. He, on the whole, was statistically the best player on the pitch according to them. I dont know all their metrics and I'm not defending Swifts performance. That first half was the worst we have seen from him in a long time but it goes to show that statistics can be misleading.

If I was to lodge a complaint, it would be on the basis of their My First LadyBird GDPR disclaimer. No, not having a go at Swift. Just depressed.

Well quite. I think we all are. Watching Reading is my only hobby/activity. Its basically all I have to look forward to most of the time and all I want at the very minimum is a good performance. Not even a win. Just to play well.

Well swift hit the post, scored the goal and created our best other chances (the header at the end, Joao blasting over)

His worst performance of the season probably but still far and away our most likely route to goal

Someone should to be honest. I thought that this year things would different, that maybe this year I would enjoy my weekends rather than drinking at home, alone, in the dark blogging about Reading failing to live up to minimal expectations yet again.

Reading remind me of my boss's catchphrase for my employer.

Aspiring to deliver mediocrity.

And failing. Or something.

If our club had a catchphrase it would start poorly and give up halfway.
