URZZZZ Hector has joined Fulham on loan

Incorrect, he has agreed to sign with them, permanently in January.

My bad, just saw he had joined them and assumed it was the usual Chelsea loan

Good move for him I think, they play the sort of style suited to him

Depends though, if he went to APOEL, you could say he's gone there to play European football.

Few words from Kitson. Pretty sure there’s a podcast of it somewhere

Kitson has regrets, Drenthe does not have any regrets - spot the difference. Think the story on Drenthe is a non-story of a complete tool. Kitson's is a much better story of an honest guy struggling with mental health but having the courage to speak out about it.

Not sure where to put this as it isnt solely about ex-players but the athletic has a great piece on grief in football including interviews with Meyler and Adam.

And, not an ex player at all, but their interview with Stephen Ireland is amazing.

Sounds like Meyler has had it tough. In hindsight, bad move for the club, bad move for him, but at the time it was seen as a good signing. He probably should have retired earlier though but fair play to him for trying to play through suffering

Sounds like he took the comments on Twitter to heart too, and as for those who bang on about him preferring gaming to football, you’re pathetic

Jack Stacey made his PL debut on Sunday for Bournemouth vs Everton and by all accounts, did pretty well. Be interesting to see how he develops in the Prem considering he jumped straight from League One up there

Good start to the season for Alex Fernandez and Cadiz, over here in Spain.

They are second, first before the fixtures kicked off tonight and he is the joint top scorer in the Segunda Division.

goals for McNulty and Smith last night. Think that's probably their level tbh, but a good loan for each will be beneficial for everyone
