Snowflake Royal
Royal Rother This is going to be an almighty disaster.

Looking forward to it.

I like Spurs. Feel sorry for them.

At best they'll win a minor trophy next season and then by the one after they'll be worse off and less competitive than now.

And broken inside.

Sadly, feels like this is a 2-1 Man Utd win because SU can’t get a second and surely MU can’t be this bad for 90 minutes

Going through their team, I'm not even sure they're actually underperforming. It's just such a poor team

Fred and Pereira. Dear me. I'd rather Rino and Swift

Tbf, I think they are really struggling with injuries at CM.

Even with their strongest midfied available it is a bit shit though depending on which Pogba turns up. Would say they need to get 3 top quality midfielders in who actually put in a shift.

United have spent something like half a billion pounds on transfers since the start of the 2016/17 season.

I'm not entirely sure how you do that and end up with a starting line-up like the one that faced Sheffield United yesterday...

They are but they should never be in that position. The only alternatives are Pogba (inconsistent), Matic (too old and slow now) and McTominay (who’s OK but nowt special). You compare this to City who have Foden as their 7th choice CM, Liverpool who have about eight centre midfielders of a good quality etc and they’re light years away from them

It’s saying something that United’d main midfielder right now would be City’s and Liverpool’s 8th and 9th choice respectively. And to think United fans hounded Fellaini out...

Oh yeah, I am not saying they are blessed with mid-field options, however Fred and Pereira are not first choice CMs for them, I would expect them to add in Jan.

TBF to Fred, he's not looked quite as shit in recent games, but they look so far behind the top 4.

Old Man Andrews Parky should do well there, he is an excellent League 1 manager. Not sure he will be good for them long term but certainly should get them at least into the playoffs this season.

Well, there certainly must be bigger issues behind the scenes but he's won 1 game in 8 league games against bottom of the table dross Southend.

OMA, if Sunderland lose at the weekend at Gillingham (a ground they lost at in the FA Cup just two weeks' ago) does Parkinson go?

I don't think he goes yet no. Pressure will be on though.

As I've posted elsewhere, the locals are sympathetic to Parky as a person, but think he's simply not up to it.
Not sure who is, to be fair - Mourinho's got a job (for the time being, anyway)

1) Surely they need to put him out of his misery now and address the situation as early as possible?
2) Did we dodge a bullet?
