Lionel Messi  - FC Barcelona - FIFA Golden Ball: 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015.
Cristiano Ronaldo - Real Madrid - Golden Ball: 2008, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017.
In recent years, the world of football is divided between these two stars of the ball. In one side of the field is Lionel Messi, for many the best player of all time, in the other Cristiano Ronaldo, the only one who at the moment is at the height of the Argentine crack and even for many has exceeded it.

Not quite Turing Test ready but these bots are a step up on what we've seen - fair play.

Beans has a touch of Harim K Hackenbacker about him.

The very deliberate arse licking Gary Lineker gives Messi makes me sick. It actually makes me hate Messi its that bad.

The Ballon d'Or is a complete joke anyway, should be CANCELLED.

Genuinely havent liked the Ballon Dor since Ribery was robbed in 2013. I still dont get it. Is it supposed to be for the best player or the most successful one?

Surprised at Mahrez being up so high (though African votes after his ACN could explain that)

Also lol @ Lloris being in there

He was voted the best 'keeper in the Premier League last year with 21 clean sheets and the best 'keeper in the Champions League. So in answer to your question, yes you are probably the only one.

Yeah, I think Algeria's exploits at AFCON probably got him that high. He does also bang in a few decent goals for City.

He has been top class.

From what I have seen, and I watch a lot of football, Jan Oblak at Atletico Madrid has been far and away the best goalkeeper over the past year or so. He has been completely overlooked. He is certainly better than Lloris and Ter Stegen.

Clean sheets are not all about the keeper, many other factors come into it. I would argue that Liverpool would have kept the same amount of clean sheets with any decent enough keeper between the sticks. I am not saying for a second Alisson isn't among the elite keepers in world football btw, just don't think he is as important to Liverpool as is made out.
