Competition been a farce this year
To have VAR at some games and not others, I still maintain is grossly unfair. Take City’s goal today which would have been disallowed at any Prem ground. Consistent basis should be applied throughout the competition
Scheduling been a nightmare too, chucking Liverpool’s game during their winter break and having the 5th round in midweek. Think a rethink may be needed for this next year
Having var at some games and not at others does not make one bleeding difference to you, or anyone else for that matter. It’s like saying Mike Dean should be refereeing all the matters for complete fairness and consistency.
Scheduling has been unusual but all got used to it and the Liverpool scenario is the price of success.
Apart from that, good post x
Same competition
Same rules should apply
Simple
No team should be given the benefit of technology when others don’t. It should be an even playing field. Sheffield Wednesday, for example have been knocked out the competition to an offside goal, yet if the game was to be played at the Etihad, the goal wouldn’t have stood. How is that fair?
Your Mike Dean example is a poor one and completely irrelevant to what I was saying but I’m not surprised in all honesty
Did we get used to the scheduling? Do you think it’s particularly fair that we had 3 days before our last game and Sheffield had 10 days to prepare? Or do you think it’s particularly fair that we had to play 5 league games, yet in the same time period, they only had 1 league game in the build up to the game? Hence our players more fatigued then theirs
Keep up the good work
