Rumour - Perry Ng

Linked with the 24yo Crewe RB. Highly rated and seen by some as the stand out RB in L2.

I know nothing about him.
But I'm a fan of players with limited numbers of vowels in their name.
Is 1 vowel a record?

Don’t know a lot about him, but from the sounds of it, this is the good type of signing that Reading have done in the past.

As it looks.

like thiNG, briNG, siNG

Friend prefers people to pronounce the individual letters, e.g. Chris N.G., but I think that's just him.

Full name is Perry Tian Hee Ng, he’s 24 and was born in Liverpool.

Ng is eligible for the Singapore national football team through his paternal grandfather.

Most importantly could he live up to “tutti frutti” Martyn Booty?

Thought a left back was priority though?

I’m surprised he hasn’t represented sg at international level.

The “y” in “Perry” is a vowel. But no vowels in the surname is probably a record (unless one of those letters does function as a vowel).

You based there? I had a holiday booked a few years back.

Beijing for week, Hong Kong for a
Long Weekend, then five days in Sing

but the Mrs slipped a disc in the shower*, spent the weekend
in a wheelchair and we had to skip the peninsular.

*not a euphemism

In general, the Y is a consonant when the syllable already has a vowel. Also, the Y is considered a consonant when it is used in place of the soft J sound, such as in the name Yolanda or Yoda. In the names Bryan and Wyatt, the Y is a vowel, because it provides the only vowel sound for the first syllable of both name

Perry Ng has a very decent shot on him.

Two of his goals in Crewe's six goals for the season.

Also a captain.

Looks like a really good addition
