They were 9th after 25 games.

Hope the rest of the squad all give their CL qualifying bonuses to Bruno Fernandes

Them and Chelsea have looked bang average this season. United's defence today was awful. The most unconvincing 3-0 I've seen in ages.
Chelsea have lost 11 and conceeded 54 goals.......how have they managed to get 4th?
Neither will progress much next season either......

Winston Biscuit .

This is a real issue with a lot of Utd fans...we paid far too much in wages to attract players that have been shit and we can't get rid of

- Sanchez...highest paid prem player ever...£400+ bags a week

- Dave is on 375 bags a week in goal. We were so shit at the time that had to pay him a load to stay

- Mata (160), Lingard(90) , Perreria(55), Jones(75), Rojo(80), Dalot(50) have barely featured in the first team. Half a million a week to do fcuk all

- Also paying the majority of Sanchez and Smalling's (he's had a great season at Roma btw) wages

So, let's say a million a week to players who contribute nothing to the club that we can't get rid of because no one else will pay them that much!!

...and Woodward is touted as a banking genius

Smalling to come back into the fold after a good season at Roma? Or looking to shift him on?

BR0B0T Lingard(90)

whaaaaaat?!

It's like they completely forgot that Man Utd youth players are contractually obliged to make half a season of substitute appearances and then move on to either Sunderland or Everton for about £5M-£10M, before drifting down the leagues.

He's reportedly said he doesn't want to come back

...I think he was treated quite shoddily by Utd/pundits etc

Very difficult to beat one on one, positioning prolly not the best tho

Yeah probably fair, always thought he gets a bit of a tough time from the press.

I guess a good season for Roma will have put him in the shop window quite nicely.

Listened to a podcast with Micah Richards the other day talking about his career and he said the only regret he has is not staying out in Italy after his loan deal with Fiorentina. Said they offered him a 3 year contract but Tim Sherwood talked him into coming back to blighty and joining Villa. Just said the lifestyle out there was amazing and the football is geared up for defenders.

A club like United should have enough strength in depth to deal with Palace though. Poor/no recruitment is the issue, Ed Woodward is a fcuking moron who has no idea what he is doing.

Good start from Van de Beek though, debut goal off the bench, probably the only positive mind.

Not quite sure how he doesn't start the game. Pogba must have missed a large chunk of training recently with his Covid issuss. I know Van De Beek is new to the squad but he was clearly fit and raring to go.
