CountryRoyal Not sure why we haven’t made a change at half time. Just attack v defence. Need to get Swift on for Semedo and actually give us a shot of retaining possession higher up.

Think it suggests Velko isn’t too unhappy the way things are going

Which surprises me. Very fortunate to go in level and we’re offering nothing going forward, more of the same in the second half just feel like it’s a matter of time.

Ascotexgunner
NewCorkSeth Not to pile on the sky commentary but they just described Olose as our main man this season. He hasn't been though has he? That's Joao for sure imo.

Throw Meite in there as well.

On the plus side Bennet is finished. Big blow to lose your Cb.

True.

4 goals 7 assists vs 11 goals, 4 assists

It's not far off tbf. And Joao is out.

Swansea with three 20yr olds as their defence now, shame we're unlikely to test them much

Swift would have scored there. Class touch by Baldock. I think he is severely underrated and is constantly hamstrung but our setup.

CountryRoyal Raphael’s had a good game. Another good save.

Only one long shot and it was straight at him.

He excels at this sort of stuff, similar against Norwich.

He's made some massive saves. Cue him letting a 30 yard daisy cutter in.

I was thinking more about the way Joao makes us play. If we could only start 1 it would be Joao for me.

Notts Royal I’m sorry but what does Semedo offer that Aluko can’t as a number 10? Why’s he playing in that position when that’s the natural position for the 2 chaps either side of him?

Baldock offering sod all up top but then we’ve known he can’t play that role; so why persist with it?

Ejaria as effective as normal...needs a rocket up his arse

Swans growing into this game and working out how to get beyond us.

Hopefully we can make a couple of changes and get a draw at least

I think ejaria has played quite well

Semedo is in for his physicality I think - at times it works with Laurent, Rino and Ejaria and Olise all being reasonably big lads it works ok. But his touch definitely needs to be better

Yep, Semedo obviously there for physicality.

Don't know why people are so down on him. Yeah if everyone is fit he doesn't make the XI, but he only just scored ffs. Got a few assists.

Ejaria is clearly here as a wide player no matter what people might prefer him as.

No I agree with that regarding Semedo...I certainly don’t think he’s rubbish, his physicality is decent and passing not bad. However in that role he is not effective, should be deeper

I know you’re not a fan of Aluko Snowflake but he’s been decent this season, and better than Semedo in that position

Think Aluko's rather soft defensively but yeah, he's been ok. Prefer him on as a sub
