Wasn’t he walking onto pitch at the end?
Hopefully minor but rules out anyone buying him this transfer window

We now have Moore, Dann, Long, possibly Joao and BOO the trialist. That's in about 3-4 weeks.
So the horrendous pace of injuries from last season isn't really showing signs of letting up given that pre-season isn't competitive and should be about making sure everyone is fit, not pushing them to the limit.

If they had any kind of injury they would hardly have been driving themselves home would they ? Probably just early season soreness or minor bumps and bruises.
No doubt both will be back by October....

There's a fair few injuries where they'd be fine to drive I'm sure.
For example, you can walk perfectly normally on a sprained ankle, but you couldn't play.

Whether the club would take the risk of a valuable asset getting behind the wheel when injured I’m not convinced. If they had an accident the insurance company might ask a few questions too ! Immediately after the game they tend to be cautious with diagnosis and if they weren’t in boots or going for a scan but we’re driving they have hopefully been assessed as just being wimps.
But the point that any injury they might have would seem likely to be minor still holds.
