I was just wondering when we last played Stockport at home? I remember watching us thrash them 6-2 in what i believe was our first home game of the 1983 season. We were on the mighty Southbank and i just googled the attendance and it was just over 2600!! However it wouldn't show me any of the scorers that day, guessing maybe Dean Horrix (R.I.P) and Kerry Dixon?

Was at game. Senior scored hat trick in four minutes, Beavon scored direct from corner and I think Wayne Tutty (RIP) scored.

Hat trick in 4 minutes 12 seconds to be exact. Rutter and Williams scored for Stockport. Attendance was 2689. Saturday September 3rd. No TV highlights extant it seems. County keeper, Mike Salmon, was only 19 and in his second league game for them.

Always possible Stockport are on a run of 1pt from the past 4 away games - so if we get at them and get ahead, we should win. If we fall behind though, that will be a real test.

In terms of turning around deficits - we are currently 10th when it comes to picking up points from a losing position - fallen behind 11 times and picked up 1 win and 3 draws.

Stockport have failed to win a game once they've gone behind - drawing 3 and losing the other 7 times.

He was basically great from the moment he joined, but couldn’t keep fit. Then had an oustanding six months, got injured, missed pen, fell apart and then gave up because we were shit and playing him as a target man to just get lumps kicked out of him.
