Yeh as I said on the other thread, exactly what we've been crying out for since Smith left. Big man upfront, decent scoring record at this level, tons of experience, and has played under LR. Couldn't really ask for much more than that.

I’m hoping he is the type of player to get the best out of these mentioned by his general all round play. Gives us someone to play up to and hopefully get the ball to stick rather than just keep coming back

Content with Keane coming in on loan. Will certainly provide a good replacement for Marriott. With him being out of contract at Preston in the summer, it will also give him some incentive to perform well to get a permanent deal here in the summer.

A career mostly spent in the Champ, and a good scoring rate in League One when he has been here. He's 33 though, so we can't expect him to replicate his Wigan form. If he could do a Jason Roberts job tho, that could be enough. Experience up front, 6/7 goals, bring others into play... Worth a gamble

Especially if you stick him out on the wing Had we played to Vydra’s strengths he would have been a lot better for us.

And if you take his cup games into account he scored 9 in 36. Which is 1 in 4 which is about his average everywhere
