And if it isn't too late, can you buy a ticket for the coach on the day of the game?

Any idea why the STAR coaches are going at 3.30pm and the Young Royals coach at 4pm? Is this a typo or do the YR's just have a faster coach?

Enquiries would have to be made to RFC why they have stated 4pm.

How do STAR organise how many coaches will be going to each game? Is a deadline set a certain number of days before a match when no more coaches are booked or is each game allocated a specific number of coaches? A standby list was mentioned above- when that becomes the 50+ required is another coach ordered?

Obviously I'd book up early if planning to travel by coach but I'm just wondering how late I can leave it if I'm unsure of plans!

Thanks

As we fill a coach we put on another one, however there has to be a cut off point because in fairness to the coach company they need to know how many drivers/ vehicles they have to allocate. With evening games it will affect the drivers hours the following day. For the Villa game the coaches had to be booked first thing this morning. On Saturday the last seat on a coach was filled directly after the game. We had four enquiries this morning after the coaches were booked, these are the people on "the standby list".

For the Wigan game we have to order the coaches on Wednesday. We cannot and will not rely on people booking at the last minute, coaches are very expensive, so it is in the interests of everyone to book as early as possible so we can assess the demand and try to meet it.

There is no limit to the amount of coaches we will take if the demand is there but we cannot justify putting on a 53 seater coach for one person. If we put coaches on standby we would have to incorporate standby charges into the price we charge our members and the whole point of our travel is to make them as affordable as possible.

So in essence if you want to go do not leave it until the last minute.
