I love Gilkesy, but he would have been a diabolical choice and we would almost certainly be going down. Working with Ince is different. Ince can come in with fresh ideas and managerial experience behind him, and Gilkes has knowledge of the club and current situation.

It's a half decent set up for the interim. What we need to do is stop moaning and booing and get behind the players now.

I think is a terrible idea but better than having Paunovic in charge

I don't disagree with the decision, results were not good enough... But the way they eventually did it was laughable.

Furthermore, the way some of you (grown men presumably) have gone on with the hysterics and vitriol has been pathetic. Threats ranging from 'supporting Maidenhead' to 'full scale violence'. Take a good hard look at yourselves.

There are rarely simple solutions to complex problems, and a new first team manager papers over the cracks of an organisation which is rotten to the top of the hierarchy.

Today we can celebrate a win, and in the short-term perhaps share some fresh hope in change... But for any pre-Prem supporter this shouldn't feel like progress. It's simply another chapter in the tragicomedy that has been the ownership and running of this club for the past decade.

Anyone threatening Pauno with violence is a disgrace. He should have gone after the Fulham game. The board didn’t have the bollocks to do it then.
We have then had a toxic month which he has fronted with no one from the club anywhere to be seen. We are run by a bunch of cowards.

Had some utter moron behind me today chanting about having a party when Pauno dies. oxf*rd disgraceful stuff.

Yep agreed.

Ridiculous.

Ask Steve Bruce what it’s like to manage a toxic club or Steve Kean.

We’re pussy cats. Paunovic had an easy ride. Fcuk it ask Mick Gooding.

Revisionists.

What?

Unless you now denounce all abuse of Paunovic and say he was hard done by you approve of everything anyone ever said about him that was nasty. Or some nonsense like it.

You're quoting the wrong person there.

Really? I just see two men that have been appointed to manage the Club. Their pigmentation is irrelevant to me.

Given the high profile lack of black managers in the game and it being a diversity milestone for the club, that seems an odd choice.

Maybe they want to show there’s no racism in the club now after the “racist incident”….

That sounds more like the decision making of our most excellent leaders.

Somebody allegedly within the club racially abused Jhamari Clarke. Not known who the culprit was. Clarke went to Liam Moore for advice and was allegedly told not to bother going to the Po Po.

Makes perfect sense they stay until the summer when they're out of contract, or stay until we appoint a new permanent manager before then.
