Jem Karacan put in his best performance of the season as Reading drew 3-3 at home against Watford in a entertaining match at the Madejski Stadium. There was disappointment for Reading and they failed to pick up the full three points despite leading 2-0 at half time and 3-1 with 15 minutes left to play. However Watford were fully deserving of the point despite leaving it late to pull level.
Adam Le Fondre started the match and put Reading ahead after eight minutes before Karacan scored the first of his two goals before the break. Karacan added Reading's third after Watford had pulled one back only to see Watford score on 76 minutes from the penalty spot to make it 3-2. With Reading under increasing pressure, the inevitable equaliser came in the last minute as the points were shared.
