Reading's Premier League games at home against Arsenal and Manchester United are both set to be shown on live TV. The arrival of the TV cameras means that both fixtures are subject to date and time changes. The game against Manchester United will kick-off at 5:30pm on the 1st December rather than the usual 3pm kick-off. Meanwhile the Arsenal League fixture will be put back two days and will take place on Monday 17th December at 8pm.
The news means that Reading will be broadcast live at home to Arsenal twice inside two months with the League Cup game already scheduled for TV on the 30th October.
After Reading's performances against Chelsea and Newcastle already this season perhaps the TV companies are hoping for some tough resistance from the Royals in front of some big home crowds. It's always going to be a struggle... Reading have lost all four of their previous league meetings with Arsenal. However we've done better against Manchester United picking up two draws and two defeats - although the draws were both at Old Trafford.
