10 Nov 2001: Reading 3 Bristol City 2 (League Division Two)

2000/2001 Season:
Last season's fixtures against Bristol City are two we'd quite happily forget. Not only did City take the full six points off us in the league, but they beat us convincingly in both of the games. The home fixture saw Reading on the back of a long unbeaten run. Things looked good when Murty gave us an early lead - but City hit back with three goals to win in front of nearly 16,000 fans at the Madejski Stadium. We got stuffed 0-4 at their place early in the season.
23 Mar 2001: Reading 1 Bristol City 3 (League Division Two)
21 Oct 2000: Bristol City 4 Reading 0 (League Division Two)

1999/2000 Season:
During the 1999-2000 season Bristol City got the better of the Royals - but we did manage a home win from our three encounters. Brebner and Crawford got the goals as the Royals started the season in winning ways.
15 Feb 2000: Bristol City 4 Reading 0 (Auto Windscreens)
04 Dec 1999: Bristol City 3 Reading 1 (League Division Two)
07 Aug 1999: Reading 2 Bristol City 1 (League Division Two)
