STAR Coach travel for Wembley

[STAR Liaison]

STAR will have 10 (TEN) coaches for members wishing to travel to Wembley for the FA Cup Semi-final on 18 April. That is around 500 seats. We shall be charging a fare of £10 per seat, with coach tickets going on sale from Tuesday, 24 March - the same day that the match tickets are put on sale.

Those members who had joined STAR before 7 March 2015 (i.e. before the away game at Bradford City) will be given an exclusive period of between 24 March and 2 April to book their coach seat. Although this is an exclusive period we must emphasise that the supply of seats is limited - it is very unlikely that we shall be able to provide more than 10 coaches - so if you are intending to travel on the STAR coaches please book early.

Any remaining coach seats will be made available to all STAR members from Saturday, 4 April 2015.

STAR Base (behind the East Stand) will be open at the following times next week:

Tuesday 24th - 10.00 - 1600 and 19.00 - 21.00
Wednesday 25th - 19.00 - 21.00
Thursday 26th - 19.00 – 21.00
Friday 27th - closed
Saturday 28th - 10.00 - 16.00
Sunday 29th - closed

Please note that we shall not be able to accept bookings by telephone or by email and we cannot accept payment by credit or debit cards (cash or cheques only please).

There will be other coach providers providing a service to Wembley at a more "commercial" rate.

Is it still 10 Royalty Points for Star membership and if so, will the points be added to the membership straight away, thereby allowing fans to join on Tuesday and have it help them qualify to buy their ticket for the semi a day earlier (assuming they are 10 points outside the bracket).

I have a season ticket, so I'm not asking for myself.

I believe we have some-such on our website which involves Paypal.

Please be aware that our Wembley coach bookings for post 6th March joiners do not open until 4th April and that we cannot guarantee there will be spaces available then.

Of course, if you want to join just to support your democratic, progressive supporter representative organisation - climb aboard without another concern.

CHANGE OF ELIGIBILITY DATE - BENEFITS MOST RECENT JOINERS OF STAR

Members who joined STAR before 7th March, have until 1pm on Sunday 29th March to book their seats on the coach to Wembley. From 1pm Sunday 29th March any remaining coach seats will go on sale to STAR members who have joined STAR since that date.

I think STAR should introduce STAR points for members, obviously STAR season ticket holders would get first priority with points awarded after that based on the number of coach trips taken.
