Funnily enough I just saw that Chicago Fire's manager has been sacked over the weekend and it made me think of Pauno and ourselves and thought "he could have been a candidate for us".Millsy wrote:What lovely speculation, putting our heads together to come up with sensible candidates. How sweet.
Back in the real world: Dai isn't giving a minute's thought to Reading FC, is busy negotating corrupt deals somewhere in China. However he has a friend of a friend who used to manage a third tier Sunday league team unsuccessfully in Kazakhstan eight years ago, who will likely get appointed later in the year, so don't worry he has it covered.
But keep speculating and hoping, please do.
Actually think he would come here if he is given the right assurances. If he is given a big budget and free reign on transfers I could see it appealing to him, he likes a project.Brogue wrote:yes to wilder
Can he get results? We can only find out after he is hired. But since he is a new person, he won't be hiredYorkshireRoyal99 wrote:Funnily enough I just saw that Chicago Fire's manager has been sacked over the weekend and it made me think of Pauno and ourselves and thought "he could have been a candidate for us".Millsy wrote:What lovely speculation, putting our heads together to come up with sensible candidates. I'm not expecting that to happen this time, but not especially bothered if the new person is an unknown, just providing they can get results on the pitch.
Valerin is the guy who did really well with Barnsley, then went to basket case club WBA and struggled so he and Watford should get on well.Stranded wrote:Well, looks like he is definitely leaving Watford - Valerin Ismael looks set to be appointed as their summer/autumn manager.
A real knob who also happens plays football from the dark ages. So yes, Watford would seem a good fit.Sutekh wrote:Valerin is the guy who did really well with Barnsley, then went to basket case club WBA and struggled so he and Watford should get on well.Stranded wrote:Well, looks like he is definitely leaving Watford - Valerin Ismael looks set to be appointed as their summer/autumn manager.
Seasons seem to have a totally different meaning at Watford.
Source seems to be one tweet from a "freelance journalist" - always take those accounts with a massive pinch of salt.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Twitter now saying talks taking place with Wilder....
Yeh, his previous stuff seems to be just re-reporting (mainly Watford) news that's already out there. Guessing it's a kid trying to get some journo experience.Stranded wrote:Source seems to be one tweet from a "freelance journalist" - always take those accounts with a massive pinch of salt.Mid Sussex Royal wrote:Twitter now saying talks taking place with Wilder....
Crikey, that's possibly the most naive thing you've said yet.Royal_jimmy wrote:I hope it's true but unless newspapers start saying that then I won't believe it
