Unforeseen circumstances

Arbor is an all weather pitch so not much chance of postponement and it’s pretty much halfway between the two finalists so better all round for everyone involved. Presume the unforeseen bit was not knowing who the finalists were going to be.

[Probably should be GF now but here goes ] ...was at this too - decent turn-out at Arbour.
Not sure if Bobby W. has taken 'full grasp of the tiller' yet but his customary 'in game' management skills seemed much in evidence.
'Robins' were certainly stunned by 'Heathens' early pace and movement up front and fell behind in the first few mins to a Makowski strike.

Took them 20 mins or more but Bracknell must have tweaked something in midfield and the two lively front-runners for Flackwell became increasingly starved of service.
Then 2nd half the 'Robins' concentrated attacks down the right-side of Flackwell's defence and successfully unlocked their lower-level opponents resolve. The STEP03 side were far superior with and without the ball in central areas.
The FH keeper (big Carl D. ?) performed wonders to keep the score down and sub. Gabe George could well have had a hatful on his own.

I'd fear slightly for Flackwell if this is an indication of what they may encounter should they progress to the next level for 25/26 - they have bright and mobile forwards but not sure they possess the necessary potency or quality to back them up from midfield.

[...and definitely GF : nonethless B&B related ] ...may be off to Oak Tree Rd Marlow tonight. for the B&B Senior Sunday TROPHY - an all Reading & District Div One affair between the two 'Rovers' - Richfield and Barton.

Flackwell Heath have come out alk guns blazing at the Berks and Bucks FA in a Maidenhead Advertiser article. Main gripe is that they think Bracknell fielded an ineligible player in the final.
