Got it against Exeter in the 2nd half, had treatment for it. 3/4 weeks means it`ll probably be after Christmas when we see him again.

Yes, definitely happened in training prior to the Exeter game as confirmed by NH in his post-match interview with TD yesterday. However, from what he said, it seems it is actually a muscle detached from his ribs rather than a hip injury. Was it initially misdiagnosed?

Matt Ritchie took a knee up the glute tonight, which has swollen up massively.

Sounds like both should be back by the time Stevenage visit, so no big deal. Let's hope we have enough for Doncaster without them (we should).

Update from Noel:

Marriott & Richie expected to miss Saturday but neither expected to be out long so I'm guessing back after the cup game.

Perreira - progressing well towards 4 week initial target.

Camara & Garcia - recovery work still...sounds like a few weeks.

Camara and Garcia useful players, but not first pick and don't particularly weaken us. A shame they're not available for Carlisle in the FA Cup.

I went to the open training session: Garcia and Camara were training with the normal intensity group; Marriott and Williams (IIRC) were with the low intensity group (along with anyone who started on Saturday). Don't think Fraser was out at all.

Pereira did some light goalkeeping stuff; it was his first training session back.

Worth noting basically every U21 player who has featured for the first team at some point this season was training with the first team squad.

Muscle damage from the bad leg injury. Back is fine after the operation i think.
