Not only would I like to thank R&R for the match reports but also for help find out what games are coming up for both the Academy and Women's team as I've attended a few of the lesser publicised matches at Farnborough and Aldershot thanks to this. We might also attend the International Cup Final depending on when and where it is.

I went last night, as well as the semi at Aldershot.

Dortmund's RB/RWB - number 7 - I think has a big future in the game. He reminded me of Nicky Shorey, in that he just got on with his job and was totally reliable, always in the right position and most importantly made the right decision every time he needed to do something. I'd have him at Reading in a heartbeat, as well as the LB/LWB.

The kicking off at the end was hilarious, I could see the Madrid players getting wound up throughout the second half and their behaviour was very unbecoming of players representing such a prestigious club.

Sorry, this is my first opportunity to do so.

I thought the best side won the game. Dortmund had the ability to run at defenders; pass vertically; play into space; go long - they had multiple strategies to harm Real Madrid. It was a really well worked goal too. They pressed well, although backed off from doing so as often in the second half. Looked very confident on the ball.

Thought Real Madrid's best opportunities typically came via Dortmund errors, but their keeper looked good; their #8 seemed to be who they most of their play to go through.

Seemed to be a higher quality game than we've been getting with Reading.

Was good to see a decent crowd for it. Was surprised how many appeared to make the trip from Spain and Germany. There were at least two Real Madrid fan coaches which turned up!

Wouldn't be a bad thing if Reading could get something like this at the Mad Stad next season, once the new pitch is installed.

I would also add, I thought Wycombe's fanzone was a level above ours. Much more seating (and it was coloured to match Wycombe's, not just random park benches); large covered area; those self serve beer machines. Certainly would be something our current owners would be aware of...
