10 goals over the last three seasons (64 apps). A couple of years ago this might have been great, but now it's a bit dubious.

I honestly don't think its a major issue if its a loan deal, if he doesn't perform its not any major loss.

Although I think he could be just what we need as its something we don't have in the team currently.

How many goals has Kevin Doyle scored since moving to Wolves? Can't be many more than Jason Roberts record...

16 in 79. But, more importantly, did Doyle criticise Jimmy Kebe on the radio?

16 in 79 for Doyle. Although people will argue, and I am one of them, his contribution to the team isn't reflected in the goals he scores.

Happy with this.

Just need to let Kebe and Roberts have a bare knuckle fight down at Hogwood to settle their differences.

He's better than anything Reading have now. So whats the issue?

I'd have more a slight concern of the point of signing Osborne, only because a) centre backs have done well b) the last young prospect centre half they signed has just been shipped out on loan

Doesn't sound like it's a loan deal.

Do players have medicals when they come in on loans? I can't remember hearing it before.

Yes they do, otherwise it could be a waste of a loan fee

Ah right. I thought you could just get shot of them if they weren't up to it.

Any more details on Roberts slating Kebe? I tried to find something on the net, but I'm useless with technology.

Bit underwhelmed tbh - hope it's only a loan coz you don't want to be buying strikers on the way down at the end of their careers really

To be fair, he has been a regular in the Rovers side until very recently, albeit mostly as a sub.

Sky sports - McDermott, who is expected to have funds available to spend following the investment of Thames Sports Investment, has now made his move and is believed to have agreed a fee with Blackburn for the Grenada international.

agreed a fee - reads to me as a transfer, but of course it could be a loan fee
