Think it's been decent actually. The players we're getting in are a slight level up on what we've done in recent years. The big hits might not have gone through yet, but you can see intent is there.genome wrote:@archrfc 40m

Been Ok - apart from AAH we haven't lost anyone we didn't expect too and in fact tied them down. Need these last deals over the line to make it a really decent one else we look a light but still 3 weeks for that to get sorted.maffff wrote:Think it's been decent actually. Totally, as far as Mannone goes, that's a solid replacement and a decent fee spent for us. We've kept the team that got us to 3rd, beyond Ali and Williams. Ali replaced, Williams admittedly is still a gap, added another option up top, another option for midfield and another option for the wings. If we're looking at them consolidating the core - we've strengthened the quality of players that are on the fringes, if they perform and they displace players from last season when fit. Even better.Stranded wrote:Been Ok - apart from AAH we haven't lost anyone we didn't expect too and in fact tied them down. Are they seriously doing this? Piazon has only ever had pleasant things to say about the club, hell I thought it was tasteless that people celebrated Rosenior's injury and he's a pcunt.genome wrote:To the morons on Twitter celebrating the fact Piazon broke his leg tonight:

Piazon has become more of a presence on social media, he insulted the town itself and someone asked how much he hates Reading out of 10 and he replied 11 despite the fact we stuck with him when he was wanted for committing sexual assault in Canada where the club risked their reputation massively. He also liked a load of tweets from both Fulham and Reading fans in which again just added fuel to the fire, on of the tweets he liked was when someone replies "Lucas Piazon when he left Reading" on a tweet that vaguely read "I'm free from the worst experience of my life". No Reading fan would've been arsed if he didn't do this, so I can understand why people are taking the piss out his leg breaktidus_mi2 wrote:Are they seriously doing this? I came on here to post this. Absolutely beggars belief that some "fans" think it's appropriate to laugh or wish this on any player, let alone Piazon who has done absolutely nothing to us to be annoyed about...Mike Hunt wrote:genome wrote:To the morons on Twitter celebrating the fact Piazon broke his leg tonight:

Well, I thought his celebration was twattish myself, but I certainly don't think it's appropriate to laugh at his injury.bobby1413 wrote:I came on here to post this.
