Normally I'd agree, but I quite like not being in the same division as them.

Can we just send them to the Chinese League instead?

That’s their level, anything else is a ✔️ i guess
5th at a push, wouldn't put them above Chelsea or Spurs right now.

I keep hearing about Kolasinac's challenge being on par with Thatcher's challenge on Mendes.

Just seen it and, yes it's uncontrolled but nothing like Thatcher's. It actually looks like he started to pull out and turn away to avoid a head on head clash.

Nah, nothing like as bad. But it was at least a 2nd yellow.

All jokes aside, what can they realistically hope for on Thursday night?

Can't see Wenger being sacked until they're out of the Europa

Worth a yellow as it was reckless but I was expecting to see a full blooded challenge designed to seriously injure a player, not a playing trying to pull out of a challenge but making a hash of it.

^ This

Wenger will only be removed (if at all) once qualifying for the Champions League is gone. The EL is the only path open to that.

It would be great to see some Arsenal fans explode with rage if they win the thing and Wenger stays on as they have made the CL.

Thanks but that didn't really answer my question.

Can they go there and win?

Awful penalty decision
Not even a good dive by Welbeck, more of an afterthought

Some day there will be a revolution and FIiFA will come down hard on divers and it will be outlawed. We can all get sniffy about it whenever it happens thereafter.

In the meantime I will continue to seethe (and be outraged inwardly)
