Chuck him in the u23s , score loads of goals, loan him out to a unknown team in Holland never to be seen again.

It still is a rumour unless I've missed it being confirmed somewhere else.

Everton snapped him up from Charlton at age 15. Was very highly rated. In recent years Everton haven’t provided the path way for youngsters to come up through the Academy. This could be a real coup for Reading.

Seems very highly rated, which asks the question of why Everton never gave him a professional deal. Either way, worth a punt. Does terribly we won’t lose any sleep, does well we have a good player in our hands to sell or use.

Has played for Portugal at youth level, so probably well known to our coaching staff and his family don't appear to have moved to Liverpool so probably happy to be closer to home. Turns 18 in September

Bit of a strange post - the likes of Kenny, Davies, Lookman, and Calvert-Lewin have broken into the Everton team in the last few years. Would say they offer a better path than most clubs including us!
