I can’t find it on twitter anymore, but I am sure I saw a tweet this morning claiming that we’re on the verge of signing Kazaiah Sterling on a contract until the end of the season. Apparently, he’s a striker and was on Spurs books at one time.

For obvious reasons, it’s probably bollox, but because of Carey’s connection to Spurs, I thought there could be a very remote possibility.

I honestly our thin squad and transfer situation doesn't make us make any desperate moves and offer contracts to unsuitable players. We've definitely got enough to avoid relegation comfortably, and if we have a slightly frustrating season but can be on the front foot to recruit next summer, that is fine.
