There is absolutely no way that Popa is on £60k/week with us.
I refuse to believe that and short of someone showing me his payslip, nothing is going to change my mind.

Even factoring in exchange rate that's £54k.
I don't believe we paid Pog that much basic in the PL, let alone some shit Romanian in the Championship. And he's not getting any bonuses or add ons is he! It's oxf*rd nonsense spouted by children.

Pleased to see him gone, none of our managers fancied him at any stage. Questionable attitude
Desperate we’re still paying in the region of 500k for him this year on wages though

That’s £15k/week which is about average for a Championship player, much more believable.

If he was on that much then shame on Tevreden and co. That equates to about £3 million a year. Surely not.

€60000 per month, or €15000 per week, which at the exchange rates of the day, was probably around £10000 per week. That’s entirely believable (if totally unmerited) for a full international with experience in senior European competitions. Probably a massive pay rise compared to what he was on and why he has no interest in leaving early for less money.

A great servant to the club but has been utter toilet for a couple of years now. Very depressing watching him be a shadow of himself. Sadly not up to championship level anymore, hope he performs well in a lower league.

Except Jaakola, did any of the released players actually get fixed up elsewhere?
Surprised if Harriott particularly didn't get picked up. Know Danzell has been trialing around, but not heard anything on McShane

No, I don't think they did.
Just had a quick look and it looks like both Harriott and McShane are free agents - which also surprises me.
