Half the guys on here won't be happy until the club has spent £8m! What if we spend it on some nice touches around the mad stad? Multistory parking for example? Better beer in the bars (rather than eggy fosters)?

I'll take the beer and £200 instead, but as that's unlikely to happen I'd like the club to spend sme cash. That way if we do go down we won't be left saying that we should have spent more. And £8m is exactly the amount that will keep me from moaning. Anything less and it'll be the old "McDermott out!" from me this April.

Is it not possible to sign player late on under the condition that the player concerned passes the medical within, say, 24 hours ??
