Just as I thought, we have missed out on Wickham to Sheffield Wednesday. The player is keen to play up north apparently.

cracking itk OMA. File under Matt Miazga's 3 match ban

Mannone loaned out again then - no doubt with us still paying a big chunk of his wage. What a dreadful signing he was, pleased we won't be paying him any more come June

agreed got to be one of THE worst signings we've ever made as a club, and that's not based on ability, purely financial. He wasn't that bad a keeper, but the money we've been paying a guy to play for other clubs and for him to drag it out till the end. PCUNT

The state of Football League World posting click bait stories like this because a couple of keyboard warrior kids on Twitter haven't got their mega deadline day!

https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/gutte ... -decision/

Shirt memories. I remember the summer transfer window when we signed just Marcus Williams from Scunthorpe!...

Fair to say the summer window just gone was rather exciting!

82 minutes until the window slams shut - what are the chances of getting anyone else in?

Apparently Blackett leaving is a done deal - signed a pre-contract

May as well slowly phase him out now Obita seems 100% again (which in itself is a great thing - big congrats to him for managing that)

Yep, if he's off then it's Richards and Obita ahead of him thanks.

Didn't think Obita was very involved against Cardiff though.

Yep Blackett gone in the summer. Howe gone. Gunter and Obita out of contract in the summer.
Agree that Obita and Richards now move ahead of Blackett.

From being ludicrously overstuffed at fullback we could potentially find ourselves starting next season with:

Yiadom, Richards, and Watson.

On the topic of transfers

Jaap Stam is on soccer am and just said the Chinese owners didn’t spend enough in the summer after the PO final?!

Aluko - Mannone - Bacuna - Barrow

They spent a lot of money and big wages that we are still trying to get off the books, but the signings were ultimately his downfall as the money wasn’t spent well. Not sure he can say we didn’t spend...

You play your best full back until we’re mathematically safe. So Blackett it is. And then once we are safe, give Richards a go IMO, see if he can regain his earlier form
