It always seemed an odd move for him to go there - out of the frying pan into the fire sprang to mind when he left. If I were him, I would probably leave before I was pushed because, I'm sure, if Hull start next season badly that he will get the sack pretty quickly.
Better pay, more security of getting paid, higher level. And safe in the knowledge if it doesn’t work out he gets his contract paid up.
Virtually no manager walks without something to go to, when they can stay to be sacked and get their contract paid up, often in full.
