I'd rather see us try and coax Mourinho away from Chelsea before we approach Moyes.pwb wrote:David Moyes for me - ignore his little stint with Man u, he kept Everton in the top10 of the prem for years and even took them into Europe several times, also before that he did very well at Preston NE.
If our new owners have any ambition, they they won't go wrong with David.
As he so often does, Mr A has nailed it here.Mr Angry wrote:This slump has become a full blown, career defining crisis for Adkins now; with 3 goals being conceded in 4 of the last 5 games, it is clear that there is a major problem, and whilst there has to be sympathy for the injuries and ownership debacle, the fact of the matter is that this simply cannot go on.
I cannot believe that he has too much more time to turn things round, and with some hideous games coming up (Blackburn, Charlton, Cardiff and Norwich all looming large) anything other than victories at home against Rotherham and Blackpool should herald the end for him.
As for who to replace him, what are we looking for? Someone with the experience of success in this Division of firstly steadying the ship, and then pushing on next season; who has knowledge of our club and players, and who the vast majority of fans would genuinely like to have as Manager of the club.
In my mind there is one obvious candidate and that's to bring back Brian.
