He initially signed for 4 1/2 years in January 2016 and a 2 year extension last season.
I'd imagine Chelsea's valuation is very much influenced by their transfer ban.

yep missed the details of that extension.
Only way he is coming here is if the same circumstances as last season - ie gets loaned out and dropped again. Ben Heneghan it is...

Ampadu would be incredible for this team. As a defensive midfielder he’s exactly what we need. Would be STUNNED if we got him though.
If we got him, he wouldn’t block the path for others, he’d give the others a chance to progress in a better winning environment!
